Mary Bradbury, MA (Cantab), PhD, F Inst Psychoanal
Mary Bradbury is a Fellow of the Institute of Psychoanalysis. She holds a PhD in Social Psychology from the London School of Economics and an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge. Mary is a Clinic Consultant at the London Clinic of Psychoanalysis and a Training Analyst for the Association of Child Psychotherapists.
She has written articles, chapters and a book on the topics of death, mental illness, stress and wellbeing, and was the writer and presenter of a documentary feature for BBC Radio 4.
In addition to maintaining her private psychoanalytic practice, Mary is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London and a Seminar Leader on the Post-Foundation Course at the Institute of Psychoanalysis. She was formerly a Visiting Lecturer and an Adult Psychotherapist at The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
She founded Analytical Consulting, a mental health consultancy service, in 2009.
Mary is a Member of the International Psychoanalytic Association and the British Psychological Society as well as a Registrant of the British Psychoanalytic Council.
